CTR Forms - Terms of Use
These CTR Forms Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Connecticut Association of REALTORS®, Inc. (“CTR”). For purposes of these Terms, “Forms” means the real estate transaction forms and related materials made available by CTR, including forms developed or co-branded with other parties, including REALTOR® associations.
By clicking “I Agree,” or by accessing, downloading, or using any CTR Form, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Membership and Limited License
You represent and warrant that you are a current CTR member eligible to access the Forms. The Forms are copyrighted materials. CTR and its licensors retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the Forms. CTR grants you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the Forms solely in connection with real estate transactions and activities within the scope of your real estate license, subject to these Terms. You may not use the Forms to train or develop any artificial intelligence system or model or to create a forms library or other competing product or service. No other rights are granted, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Permitted Use
You may complete and use the Forms in connection with real estate transactions and may provide Forms to your clients and others as reasonably necessary for those transactions. Your clients may review, complete, and sign Forms at your direction but have no independent right to use or access the Forms.
3. No Modification
You may complete information called for by a Form and strike through provisions that do not apply. You may not otherwise modify the standard language or format of a Form or remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, logo, or other proprietary notice.
4. No Redistribution
You may not post, publish, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise make the Forms available to the public or unauthorized persons, except as expressly permitted under these Terms. You may not share your account credentials for Forms access or provide another person with unauthorized access to the Forms.
5. Form Updates
CTR may add, revise, replace, or withdraw Forms at any time. You are responsible for using the current version made available by CTR.
6. Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability
The Forms are provided as a resource for CTR members. CTR does not represent or warrant that any Form is appropriate for every transaction or circumstance, and the Forms are not a substitute for legal advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CTR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your access to or use of the Forms, and CTR’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Forms shall not exceed the greater of $100 (one hundred dollars) or the amount you paid to CTR specifically for access to the Forms during the twelve months preceding the claim.
7. Termination of Access
Your right to access and use the Forms ends when your CTR membership ends. CTR may also suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms.
8. Relationship to CTR Terms of Service
These Terms supplement CTR’s Terms of Service. If these Terms conflict with CTR’s Terms of Service with respect to the Forms, these Terms control.
