Privacy Policy of Connecticut Association of REALTORS® Inc.

The Association, as a provider of certain personal services, wishes to inform its members of its policies regarding privacy of member information. The Association understands members' concerns for privacy and the need to ensure the privacy of all your information. Your privacy is important to the Association and maintaining your trust in the Association and confidence is a high priority. Therefore, the Association has always protected your right to privacy. The purpose of this notice is to explain the Association's Privacy Policy with regard to personal information about members that the Association obtains and how the Association keeps that information secure.

Nonpublic Personal Information the Association Collects

The Association collects nonpublic personal information about you that you provide to the Association or is obtained by the Association with your authorization or consent.

THE ASSOCIATION DOES NOT DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT MEMBERS TO ANYONE, EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY LAW AND ANY APPLICABLE CONNECTICUT STATUTES OR REGULATIONS.

The Association does not disclose any nonpublic personal information about members obtained in the course of serving those members, except as expressly or impliedly authorized by those members to enable the Association to effectuate its purposes or as required or permitted by law.

Confidentiality and Security

The Association retains records relating to services that the Association provides so the Association is better able to assist you with your needs and to comply with requirements of law. In order to guard your nonpublic personal information, the Association maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with State laws and regulations.
