Oppose All Proposed New and Increased Taxes on Real Estate!

Immediate Action Needed!

Updated 9/16/17 3:30 pm

Thank you for all the contacts made over the past five days to kill the expansion of the conveyance tax proposal in the Governor's budget and the brand new tax on second and rental homes in the Democrats budget. Those were ultimately killed when the House and Senate approved a GOP budget amendment Friday night that had NO new or expanded real estate tax provisions. It became a bipartisan budget as 3 Democratic Senators and 6 Democratic House members voted with the Republicans to pass that amendment.

The Governor has vowed to veto that budget.

There is no more time for budget talks - it is time to get moving. We are now URGING REALTORS® to send the pre-written message below to the Governor NOW urging him to NOT VETO the Bipartisan budget.

Together we saved Connecticut real estate over $80M in new taxes in 2018 alone. Now let's save the Bipartisan budget and work together to save Connecticut.
